After 30 years in Music Education, I now operate as a freelance teacher / musician. Training took place at the University of Wales, gaining a B.Mus(Hons), followed by a P.G.C.E. In addition, I hold a Licentiate of Trinity College, London.

1988 until 2004 I was employed as a Secondary School Music teacher, gaining management positions in academic and pastoral areas.

2009 to 2015 I worked as curriculum specialist for RCT Music Service, working with children of all ages and abilities, including special needs. I also prepared county ensembles for performances in major venues.

As a soloist / accompanist I have performed in many major theatres and concert halls and taken part in recordings.

Since 2000 I have worked part time for the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, as a specialist in Theory and General Musicianship, and direct the Junior Conservatoire choir.
